Yoga Alliance certification is considered crucial within the yoga community. Yoga Alliance sets standards and guidelines for yoga teacher training programs, ensuring that they meet specific criteria in terms of curriculum, hours of training, and qualifications of instructors. YA certification enhances a yoga teacher’s credibility and reputation by demonstrating a commitment to teaching safe and effective yoga classes. It signifies that the teacher has completed a recognized and reputable training program, demonstrating a certain level of competence and commitment to the practice of yoga. This helps maintain the integrity and reputation of the yoga profession.

It’s important to note that while Yoga Alliance certification offers many benefits, it is not the only measure of an excellent yoga teacher. It’s essential to research and evaluate a training program’s teachers based on their qualifications, experience, teaching style, and personal alignment with your goals and values. Our program is specifically designed to include students of various levels of experience, age, and orientation. All are welcome! We only ask that you have a personal yoga practice established before you begin our YTT program.
